Years ago I learned that emulsifiers (the ingredient in creams which combines oil and water to form an emulsion) prevent moisture from being transferred to the dermis. Since then one thought has been running through my brain: there must be a way to moisturize the skin in a completely natural way—without emulsifiers.
For the body, this is doable with a body butter such as CostieraAmalfitana or the PflegeMödeli.
For the face, I wanted to come up with a slightly more sophisticated version that would create a truly convincing and wonderful skin feeling.
And…
Sleeping Beauty was truly awakened.
A wide variety of wonderfully rich natural oils unfold their nourishing and moisturizing properties in this balm.
Apply “Sleeping Beauty” in the evening or in the morning to a freshly washed, slightly damp face and massage the balm gently in.
Make sure that your skin is damp ! Pure balms can only penetrate the skin in combination with moisture.

Noteworthy
The balm does not necessarily have to be applied every day. You can also treat “Sleeping Beauty” like a cure. The special blend of natural oils also aims to stimulate sebaceous gland activity so that the skin itself actively “takes control” of its moisture balance again.
Storage
At 180°C, oils behave differently than a shower gel: a well-formulated natural soap becomes milder, foamier, and longer-lasting with age.
Natural oils, on the other hand, react with oxygen, bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores in the air and become rancid and oxidize over time.
The more unsaturated fatty acids an oil contains, the faster it spoils.
And good oils for the skin (unfortunately) contain a lot of unsaturated fatty acids…
Even though the temperatures in the bathroom fluctuate relatively unfavorably for a balm, it still achieves the specified shelf life of 8 months.
Shelf life
Close the glass jar tightly after use. Can be stored for up to 8 months.
