Description
As a special touch I added some poppy seed oil and some ground poppy seeds.
Some geografical areas have specialized in milking the juice from opium poppies and turning this into a drug. Whole regions solely live of this plant.
Unfortunately.
Because it has devastating consequences.
However, if you want to get the tasty, nutty poppy oil, you simply press the ripe seeds of the poppy. This, too, may contain certain opiates; but in our case, it is a low-morphine cultivation of a gray poppy.
So don’t worry that you would be on cloud nine after showering with O & Poppy… but freshly showered, it’s certainly good to face everyday life and its surprises. In any case, “O & Poppy” does its best to give you support in terms of concentration and inspiration (aromatherapeutic effect of the essential oil mixture).
On the skin
Poppy seed oil is quickly absorbed into our skin, giving it a smooth feeling. Due to the high content of vitamin E, this oil supports the binding and absorption of moisture in human skin. This makes it elastic & supple, resulting in fresh and youthful skin.
A look back
Until World War II, poppies were also cultivated in Switzerland. After 1945, rapeseed and sunflower overtook the poppy in terms of oil production, as the processing of the very small poppy seeds is relatively complex and the harvest quantity is small, in contrast to sunflower or rapeseed.
For some years now, there are a couple few Swiss farmers who produce this valuable and, above all, tasty oil. It is not entirely inexpensive, but it’sworth keeping a small bottle on hand for salad dressings.

Gift ?
If you would like to give this DuschMödeli as a gift, I could enclose the small card I make for every Mödeli. This card informs about the skin type, the scent and the aromatherapeutic effect of the specific soap of mine.
I don’t automatically add these cards to a shipment. So if you would like one, simply write so under “remarks” and I’ll stick it into the package.
